[GM CEO Henderson to resign]
Woke up at 6:00am but stayed in bed until
7:00pm. It's not much gusty anymore. While I was looking out the window, the
guy on the radio was saying about the sun rise is getting late these days. I
guess I was thinking about the same thing. Went to the office, and stayed
until 8:00pm. Drive to LTF for swim, and come home. Had dinner. Went to bed
around midnight. Expecting rain tomorrow, and maybe snow on Thursday. |

Woke up at 6:00am, not at too cold but did not
want to get up until 7:00am. I think the widespread of cold at workplace
made me get rest as much as I can. Drive to work and stayed until 8:00pm. My
friend called me around 8:00pm. It's almost 10 years since I talked to him
last time... The outside was raining pretty hard as I walked out. Drove to LTF for swim, come home, did a load of laundry. Went to bed around 11:00pm.
I have to get up early tomorrow to cook a meal before I go work. |

[First Snow in Detroit]
Woke up at 6:00am, had to cook a dish before
going to work. I drove to work under chilly weather. Stayed until 8:20pm.
The sky was partially cloudy, I could see moonlight on the back. Swam for
another 30 minutes and came out. That's the time I realized that we have the
first snow for this winter. Drive home under snowy weather. Went to bed
around midnight. |

Woke up at 6:00am, 26F... It's sunny but no
trace of snow on the ground. Drive to work, and stayed until 7:30pm. I
stepped out for lunch with coworkers. The outside was sunny but pretty
chilly. The temperature dropped to 28F as I leave the office, and 25F by the
time I went to bed. Expecting 18F tomorrow morning... |

The first thing in the morning was that I woke
up at 7:30am. 28F outside and cloudy. It was snowing occasionally
from the morning. No time to cook yesterday so I just made a simple lunch
which I just need to defrost. I had to call my dad since I did not have time
over the weekend. I wanted to leave office before store close but ended up
staying until 7:30pm. Somehow I made it before closing. I also stopped by at
Meijer for gas and groceries. Still snowing lightly. Come home, had dinner
and start typing the blog for the weekend. I donated some money to Feed for
Hunger, and bought a couple of toys for Toys for Tots. The room was getting chilly
around 11:00pm, went to bed around 11:30pm. |

Woke up at 6:00am, this time I had enough sleep.
Chilly outside of 28F again and realized the pond in front of apartment is
frozen. Expecting snow then rain. Drive to the office, and saw few snow.
Throughout the day, I could see snow falling occasionally as I walk passed
windows. Stepped outside around 7:45pm, then drive to LTF under flurries. I
swam for about half hour, which was good. I have not swam for more than
three days. Still more snow to come, and now it's gusty as I drive home.
Cooked a meal and went to bed around 11:00pm. I could hear the sound of rain
and gusty wind... |

Woke up at 6:00am, the temperature is back at
36F and raining. The ice on the pond is partially melt as I looked out. The news on the radio reporting of closure of I-75 due to
flooding. Today is expected to be gusty and snowy, and night will be pretty
cold. Drive to Dry Cleaner on the way to work. I showed the lady a coupon
but she gave me a deeper discount. I guess she now know that I always bring
mine there... Went to work and stayed until 9:00pm. Up to 60mph of gusty
wind expected for the evening. It was gusty and snow was blowing to side.
Drive to LTF for short swim and headed home. There was an icy spot at
intersection, and I could not start my car well. I thought I was going to
stuck there... |

Woke up at 6:00am, the room temperature is 56F,
and outside is 21F. Still a but windy and partly cloudy. Expecting more snow
and some parts of roads have been icy. I got to the office while seeing some
cars could not negotiate with the winter road conditions. The temperature
came down to 16F by noon, I wonder how low this will get... An issue popped
up and I had to deal with it so I ended up staying at the office until
10:00pm then drive straight home. The temperature dropped to 12F. Went to
bed around midnight. What a day. |

Woke up at 6:00am, the outside is 12F, not cold
as expected. Drive to work under snowy weather. Went to get lunch at Aji Ten
with coworkers. Had to stay until 8:45pm, thought about going to swim but
gave up. Just drove home because I was stressed out from getting too much
pressure whole this week... Went to bed around 11:00pm. |

Woke up at 6:00am, wanted to go to shopping mall
today so I left home around 8:00am, the outside was still around 15F but
expected to be around 32F over the day. At the entrance of the LTF driveway,
a fire engine was blocking the way, there seems to be an accident... Swam
for one hour and then headed to the mall. I bought some pants and shirts,
and Christmas gifts. Come home once and relaxed then drive to the office. I
left there around 6:00pm, which is very much dark as midnight. Stopped by at
a Japanese grocery store. Spent evening taking care of laundries, and then
found out that I did not buy the correct sized pants.... I have to go back
there again tomorrow. Expecting icy rain over night to tomorrow morning. I
have to be careful on driving tomorrow. Started hearing the sound of rain
(ice?) hitting the window around 11:30pm |

Woke up at 6:00am, not that cold, I can hear
water dripping outside, must be warmer than 32F. Went to swim again, the
road was iced up at many places due to sleet over night. I had to take extra
caution. Drive to the mall again to get stuffs exchanged. The lady at the
casher told me that stores is open 9 to 6 today, and yesterday was 7 to 9.
Wow... Stopped by at Borders for a couple of CD I wanted to buy, then
visited my friends. We had lunch together. It was nice chatting with them.
Left the house around 2:00pm, drive to Meijer for fuel and groceries. Come
home around 3:00pm, took care of Christmas cards and stamps ran out again! I
guess I have to mail more tomorrow... Cooked seasoned rice. Get ready for
the new week. Went to bed around 11:00pm. |

Woke up at 6:00am, 34F outside and not raining.
Still not feeling too well. Drove to work and stayed until 1:00pm then head
to a dentist for teeth checkup. The road was pretty foggy and I could not
see half mile up. I had no issue again but being told that I might have to
get a crown on one of the teeth someday. Drive back to the office and stayed
until 7:30pm. Come home under misty rain. Went to bed around 11:00pm. I
don't have fever or anything but simply not feeling well. Send out 30 cards
in the morning and wrote five more. |

[Boeing 787 (Dreamliner) took a maiden flight]
Woke up at 6:00am, 33F outside so not much different from yesterday.
Expecting some snow over the day. I went to the office, and spent afternoon
at outside where snow comes and goes. I get to drive 2010 Ford Fusion, it is
not a bad car. By the time when I drive back to the office around 4:00pm,
already many accidents on the road, my coworkers had to drive with care. I
stay until... 8:00pm then headed to a gym for swimming. I drove home, the
road was not so bad because there was no icy spots. Went to bed around
11:30pm. |

I woke up at 6:00am, 19F outside, I drove to
work and went to a nearby restaurant around 11:00am for luncheon for the
company. Finally a sunny day. Came back around 1:00pm, and stayed until
10;00pm today due to meetings. 18F when I come home, ready to go bed around
11:30pm. Pretty cold today... |

Woke up at 6:00am but fell back to sleep until 7:00am. It's another 18F
outside not cold like 14F as expected. Another sunny day,
but snow might come in tomorrow... The car had frost on it but almost like
snow flake, it was easy to get rid of. Drive to work, stayed until
4:30pm then stepped out to chiropractics. Drive back to the office, worked
until 8:30pm so I got to LTF for swim right before 9:00pm. Spent about half
hour there then drove home. Went to bed around midnight |

[My hometown got first snow of the year. It's
been a while since the last time the snow fell enough to accumulate]
Woke up at 6:00am, it was around 28F so I did
not use heater in the morning. Had to drive a car for the morning as an
assignment. I drove a VW Passat this time. The gas pedal was much softer
than my Honda so I had to drive with care. Got my lunch from |

Woke up at 6:00am, snowed about half inch over night. Around 26F so it is
not so cold. Went to LTF for swim as usual. The pool was fairly busy so I
had to wait for 10 minute for my turn. Drive home, spent afternoon at home,
doing laundry, taking out trash. I guess there is always something I can do
extra if I don't go to office. Went outside around 8:00pm to drop mails in
the box nearby. Still lightly snowing, and it was kinda chilly, too. We
might get few more snow, also... Went to bed around 10:00pm |
