[Labor Day, Hurricane Gustav makes a landfall
near New Orleans]
Woke up at 7:00am, went to Kensington Park for another 8 mile run. the sky
was not totally clear, has some streams of clouds like someone painted the
sky with brush. On the way back to home, I saw many cars lined up at the
entrance, but also at the freeway. I think there was an accident since I
heard siren of an emergency vehicle while I was running. The west bound was
not affected so I was able to come home without a trouble. Not so good to
have holiday with a wreck. Relaxed until 2:00pm after cooking Japanese
noodle. headed to work. |

Woke up at 6:00am, went to work. The temperature
rise to nearly 90F over the day. I had lunch brought myself, but dinner must
be bought from Jimmy John's before the meeting. Stayed until 10:15pm in the
office then drove home. Come home, not much things to do so I just went to
bed. Tired. |

Woke up at 6:00am, went to work under cloudy
sky. Expecting some rain today in the afternoon. Had meetings, and the rain
just stared in the middle of afternoon. I moved my car after 6:00pm since I
have seen a break in the rain clouds, but expecting more rain fall in the
evening. Stayed until 9:00pm, headed home straight. Come home, cooked
dinner, headed to bed after midnight. |

Woke up at 6:00am, went to work under slight
rain. Stayed until 9:00pm and headed to LTF for workout. I met with a
coworker who is just finishing up. Still raining slightly when I get
outside. Come home, had dinner, stayed up until midnight. |

Woke up at 6:00am, I woke up few times in the
night because of gusty wind. Rain fell occasionally over the day. Left work
at 7:00pm, stopped by at LTF then Meijer before coming home. Relaxed whole
evening. |

Woke up at 7:00am, 55F at outside. I could see
some clouds still in the air, maybe from yesterday's rain. Stepped outside
and headed to Kensington Park for running. I did a 16 miles today in 3
hours. There aren't many people since the beaches are closed, but there
seems to be a crosscountry meet so I have seen students running. I came home
around 2:00pm, had a whole feet of Subway sandwich for lunch, took a nap.
Did a load of laundry, and cooked dinner. |

Woke up once in the morning around 6:00am
because of rain hitting the bedroom window. Got out of the bed around
8:00am, but I was too tired from yesterday, so I had lunch then headed to
the office for catch up work. Stayed until 9:00pm, come home, made dinner,
went to bed around midnight. |

Woke up at 6:00am, it was not too much going on,
but I remembered the possible thunderstorm today. Went to work and stayed
until 9:45pm. Rain started around 5:00pm today and kept on and off for
entire evening, including when I was driving to Meijer for groceries. Come
home around 10:30pm, had dinner, went to bed after midnight. I got bad
headache whole afternoon... Ouch. |

Woke up at 6:00am, temperature was around 55F
and sunny. Stopped by at apartment office to file a renewal notice. Went to
work, stayed until 10:00pm, drove to Birminghan, MI to go buy a book after
10:00pm (Borders was the only one open until 11:00pm). Drove on local road
back to apartment, but decided to fill up gas before I go home. Packed my
suitcase and travel bags, I think I am not forgetting anything... Already
below 50F, went to bed after 1:00am. |

Woke up once around 2:00am, I tried get back to
sleep but woke up again around 3:00pm, so I just decided to get up. Went to
work a bit earlier than usual, stayed until 6:00pm. I was driving a company
car but had to cut the assignment short since I felt so sleepy over the day.
Stopped by at a Japanese grocery store before I can come home. I still want
to go to regular grocery store, too. Stayed up until 10:30pm and went to
bed. |

Woke up again around 1:00am, but fell back to
sleep until 5:45am. It was a good one. I hope I can recover from the jet lag
soon. Reported to work, drove a company car for testing. I get to stay at
the office for the most of afternoon, except for running another test.
Stayed until 8:00pm at work, coming home around 9:00pm due to grocery
shopping at Meijer. Going to bed again around 10:30pm... |

to my home phone. I don't need a calling card anymore]
Woke up around 1:00am, then could not go back to
sleep, even I tried until 3:00am, got up, stayed up and worked on PC until
5:30am, I felt a bit sleepy so I went to bed, and did not wake up until
noon. Drove to the apartment office to renew contract, stopped by at Jimmy
John's for lunch, then stayed at work until 9:30pm including a meeting. It
was sunny, and warm but was already a bit cool when I stepped outside. The
stars in the sky was pretty cool. Come home, going to bed around 11:00pm. |

Woke up a couple of times in the night, but I
finally got up around 9:00am, set a load of laundry to wash, went to work. I
was hoping there is no meeting in the night, but there will be one... I
drove to Max and Erma for dinner, had a salad and come back to the office.
Meeting lasted until 10:00pm, stayed up until 11:30pm then went to bed. |

Woke up at 2:00am, and 4:00am, I think working
late causing not my body to adjust back to the U.S. time. Suddenly got foggy
in the morning around 9:00am, I could see outside much. Set the load of
laundry I set to wash yesterday to dry, headed out for work when the fog is
all burnt off. I wanted to leave office by 7:00pm but some issue kept me at
office until 7:30pm. Went to LTF for the first time in the week, worked out
and left there around 8:30pm, headed home straight, relaxed for the evening.

external vehicle activity]
Woke up at 2:00am, stayed in bed until 6:00am,
sunny but a bit cloudy in the morning at 55F outside. Went to a bank to make
changes, then headed to Kensington Park for 4miles run. The ramp to I-96 was
closed, so I took Grand River to New Hudson. Come home, cooked
lunch. The outside becomes cloudy by noon. Drove to office, stayed until
7:00pm. Come home, cooked dinner, relaxed for the evening, updating my blog
from the trip. |

Woke up at 1:00am, and 4:00am then finally got
out of the bed at 9:00am. Foggy outside but should be burning off by
10:00am. Went for a 6 miles run today. Stopped by at Japanese grocery store
before coming home. Relaxed for the afternoon but had to go to the office to
take care of an issue. Stayed until 8:45pm, drove to Meijer before heading
home. Had sashimi for dinner, which I got it from Japanese grocery store. I
hope I can get some sleep. |

[DJIA lost 777.68 points due to recent financial
trouble, which was worse than 9/17/2001 after market opened post 9-11]
Woke up around 5:00am once, but did not wake up until 8:00am, went to work,
stayed after 10:00pm. I cooked dinner so I did not get to eat until 11:30pm.
Had rain from 6:00pm and expected to last for next couple of days, I could
see it coming from WSW from the morning on the weather map. Rain continued
for past midnight, |

[A news reports shortage of gas continuing for
three weeks in Texas and Atlanta since after hurricane Gustav and Ike hit
the area, noting that those regions heavily rely on gas from Gulf of Mexico
but the pipeline can only transfer oil at 3-5mph, for example, takes almost
10 days to reach Atlanta]
Last day of September, I woke up once at 6:00am but did not wake up again
until 7:30am. The rain was over and only cloudy, for now. Went to work
without lunch meal since I did not have enough time, stayed until 9:00pm,
headed home had dinner, decided to go bead around 11:00pm, so I can get some
sleep. |
